For motor compatibility, verify the motor type in service, for example, 1FT5, 1FT6, or 1PH, as the module must be rated for the installed motor current. SIMODRIVE 611 drive hardware is the legacy drive platform associated with earlier SINUMERIK 840D installations. SINUMERIK 840D sl and SINUMERIK ONE systems use SINAMICS S120 drive hardware or SINAMICS NX extension modules rather than SIMODRIVE 611. Sourcing the correct CNC drive module requires confirming which drive platform is installed, not just the CNC controller generation.
