Siemens SITRANS is the process instrumentation product line, covering measurement of flow, level, pressure, and temperature in industrial process environments. SITRANS instruments are used as primary measurement devices in process control loops, feeding signals to SIMATIC PLCs, DCS systems, and SCADA platforms to support regulatory control, alarming, and process optimization. In continuous process industries, a failed flow meter, level transmitter, or temperature transmitter disrupts the measurement loop it feeds. Depending on the loop's criticality, this can mean a degraded control response, manual backup operation, or a process shutdown while the instrument is replaced. SITRANS instruments are widely installed across plants with long service lives, and replacement hardware through standard OEM channels for older variants is not always available at short notice.

• SITRANS LUT400 Series Ultrasonic Level Controllers: Non-contact, continuous ultrasonic level measurement for liquids, slurries, and solids, with a measuring range of up to 60 m (197 ft). The SITRANS LUT420 (7ML5050-0AA12-1DA0) is confirmed in the collection and features a built-in display, 100-230 V AC supply, HART communication, 2 discrete inputs, 3 relay outputs, and single-point measurement. Data logging and volume flow calculation are built in. This unit carries a start-of-final-year-of-support lifecycle status. 

• SITRANS FM MAG 5000 and MAG 6000 Electromagnetic Flow Signal Converters: Signal converter units for electromagnetic flow metering, used with SITRANS F MAG flow sensors. The MAG 6000 (7ME6920-1AA30-1AA0) features an IP67 / NEMA 4X/6 polyamide enclosure with a display and 11-30 V DC / 11-24 V AC supply. The MAG 5000 (7ME6910-1AA10-1BA0) has the same enclosure rating as HART communication and a 115-230 V AC supply. Both are at announcement-of-phase-out status, with SITRANS FMT020 as the designated successor. 

• SITRANS TR200 and TH300 Temperature Transmitters: Rail-mount and connection head temperature transmitters for 4-20 mA output. The SITRANS TR200 (7NG3032-1JN00) is a DIN rail-mount 2-wire transmitter with galvanic isolation and Ex ia explosion protection. The SITRANS TH300 (7NG3212-0NN00) is a connection head-mount type B (DIN 43729) transmitter with HART communication and electrical isolation. Both are at announcement-of-phase-out status. 

• SITRANS WM300 Motion Failure Alarm Controller: Motion failure alarm controller for conveyor belt slip detection and motion monitoring applications. The LOGO!POWER 24 V / 1.3 A power supply (6EP3331-6SB00-0AY0) is classified under the SITRANS WM300 family in the PLC Direct collection and is confirmed in stock as an active product.

What to Know Before You Buy Siemens SITRANS Parts 

Selecting the correct SITRANS replacement requires matching the measurement technology, supply voltage, output signal, and any required certifications to the installed device specification. 

Hardware condition options: We supply SITRANS instruments as surplus sealed, refurbished, and used. Surplus sealed units are factory-sealed stock. Refurbished units have been tested and restored to operational condition. 

Flow meter system compatibility: SITRANS FM MAG 5000 and MAG 6000 are signal converters, not complete flow meters. They require a compatible SITRANS F MAG electromagnetic flow sensor. Confirm that the replacement converter is compatible with the existing sensor before ordering. 

Lifecycle and successor products: Several SITRANS instruments in this collection carry phase-out or final-year-of-support status. Siemens has designated SITRANS FMT020 as the successor for MAG 5000 and MAG 6000 converters. For facilities maintaining existing MAG installations, surplus sealed or refurbished units from independent stock provide a direct-fit replacement path. 

Hazardous area ratings: The SITRANS TR200 temperature transmitter is certified Ex ia (intrinsic safety). Confirm that any replacement instrument carries the same hazardous area certification as the installed device, as installing a non-Ex unit in an Ex-rated location is not permitted. 

Warranty: All Siemens SITRANS hardware purchased from PLC Direct includes a standard 1-year warranty covering defects and functionality, applicable to surplus sealed, refurbished, and used products.
