CU240E-2 PN firmware and CompactFlash: The SINAMICS G120 CU240E-2 PN control unit stores drive parameters and firmware on an internal CompactFlash card. When replacing a control unit, the original CompactFlash card from the failed unit should be transferred to the replacement to preserve the drive's parameter set, or the parameters must be reprogrammed. SINAMICS S120 CU310-2 PN without CompactFlash: The CU310-2 PN control unit in this collection is supplied without a CompactFlash card. A CompactFlash card must be present and loaded with the drive firmware and project data before the drive can operate.
