The primary role of the Fulfillment Specialist is to perform all the processes involved in the organization, distribution, and request fulfillment of all products at our Distribution Center. Other duties include the tracking of deliveries and general flex help on the DC floor with receiving and distribution of product. This job is in our Distribution Center (DC) in Schiller Park, IL.

Early mornings, evenings and weekends are occasionally required.

Fulfillment Daily Processes

• Create transfer documents for all allocated and requested products.
• Help load products into delivery trucks.
• Verify quantities of inbound products.
• Maintain back stock storage and organization of built products.
• Answer the phone and assist store Associates with requests.
• Keep the Inbound/Outbound work area clean, organized and efficient.
• May be required to drive delivery truck, if needed in special circumstances.

Requirements

• Accuracy and attention to detail: Maintain a high level of accuracy when verifying part numbers, scanning products for transfer and prepping for inventory counts.
• Computer and Point of Sale system experience.
• Verbal communication skills: Speak clearly and listen carefully to store associates phone inquiries and when working with other DC staff.
• Written communication skills: Ability to communicate clear and concise messages to staff and stores. Ability to write professional, understandable email messages to peers, managers and customers.
• Computer skills: copy, paste, print, make a new folder, name, rename and organize files and folders. Basic spreadsheet use; enter data, sort, format, and print.
• Organization skills: Sort, categorize, label and store items according to standards.
• Ability to walk 6 out of the 8 hour shift.
• Ability to lift overhead and carry boxes up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Illinois drivers license and clean driving record.
