The ProSoft Technology Fast Industrial Hotspot (RLX2-IHNF) provides secure wireless solutions for plant-floor, SCADA automation, process control systems and mobile worker Wi-Fi infrastructure. It operates in the 2.4 or 5 GHz bands, including DFS channels, and is good for applications up to 2 mi. / 3.2 km. The Hotspot supports Access Point, Repeater, and Client modes. 802.11n technology delivers fast data rates up to 300 Mbps. This provides excellent packet-per-second performance and robust communications in rugged industrial environments. The 802.11n MIMO & Channel bonding supports demanding wireless applications such as Ethernet I/O and high-resolution video. The included IH Browser configuration and monitoring software allows the user to view network topology, assign IP addresses, monitor network diagnostics, and update radio firmware. The optional OPC Diagnostic Server is ideal for managing long-range wireless SCADA networks.

Our Modbus TCP/IP communication gateways offer bidirectional data transfers between devices on dissimilar networks. Our Modbus TCP/IP Driver uses Multiple Clients and Servers for faster data throughput. Protocol conversion gateways are the ideal solution for distributed networks when adding a remote rack becomes too costly. The PLX30s are stand-alone DIN-rail mounted gateways that provide one Ethernet port for communication, remote configuration and diagnostics, and up to four (4) serial communication ports. The PLX30 gateways also come with an SD Card slot (SD card optional) for storing configuration files. In the event of a failure the SD card can be transferred to another gateway reducing downtime. These gateways contain a 4000 word database, includes a wide input power range (10 Vdc – 36 Vdc), and an extended temperature range (-25°C to 70°C). The PLX30 gateways include all the necessary cables required for communication.

The MVI56E-MCMR Enhanced Modbus Master/Slave Communication Module with Reduced Data Block allows Rockwell Automation® ControlLogix® processors to easily interface with devices using the Modbus RTU/ASCII serial communications protocol. Compatible devices include a wide variety of instruments, process measurement devices, popular brands of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and programmable automation controllers (PACs). The MVI56E-MCMR acts as an input/output module on the ControlLogix backplane, making Modbus data appear as I/O data to the processor. Backplane data transfers to and from the processor are asynchronous from communications on the Modbus network. Two independently-configurable serial ports can operate on the same or different Modbus networks. Each port can be configured as a Modbus Master or Slave, sharing the same user-controlled 5000-word database.
