This device is a flush-mount energy meter with a 96mm by 96mm backlit LCD display and carries additional MID certification for revenue applications. The meter provides Class 0.5S accuracy per IEC 62053-22 standard and 64 samples per cycle. The meter will measure Energy, Active and Reactive Power, Voltage, Current, Frequency, Power Factor and up to 15th Harmonic. The meter will function in a 50Hz or 60Hz network and accepts supply voltage ranging from 100 to 415 VAC and 125 to 250 VDC. Line rated current for this meter is 1A or 5A input and will support Single Phase and Neutral, Three Phase, or Three Phase and Neutral configurations. The range of measurement voltage between Phases is 35 to 690 VAC at 47 to 63 Hz. Measurement range between Phase and Neutral is 20 to 400VAC at 47 to 63 Hz. This Altistart 48 soft start/soft stop unit is a controller with 6 thyristors used for torque-controlled soft starting and stopping of three-phase asynchronous motors. It offers soft starting and deceleration functions along with machine and motor protection functions, as well as functions for communicating with control systems. It works at a rated supply voltage from 230V to 415V AC and up to 38A rating. Altistart 48 torque control enables starting without mechanical stress and smooth control of hydraulic transitions, with a single acceleration ramp making adjustments is quick and easy, whatever the load. If connected in the motor supply line it is suitable for motors with power rating up to 18.5kW (at 400V) for standards applications and 15kW (at 400V) for severe applications. If connected to the motor delta terminals it is suitable for motors with power rating up to 30kW (at 400V) for standards applications and 22kW (at 400V) for severe applications. It weighs 4.9kg and its dimensions are, 160mm wide, 275mm high, 190mm deep. It is designed for use in the most common applications for centrifugal machines, pumps, fans, compressors and conveyors, which are primarily to be found in the construction, food and beverage and chemical industries. It complies with IEC/EN 60947-4-2 standard and is certified CE, UL, CSA, DNV, C-Tick, GOST, CCC, NOM, SEPRO, and TCF. Altivar Soft Starter ATS480 is intended to start and stop asynchronous motors supplied from 208V to 690V. It meets the requirements of the most demanding applications in normal and heavy duty. With an operational rated current of 790A in normal duty, it supplies motor from 220kW to 710kW according to mains voltage. Designed for digitization, connected, optimized to meet cybersecurity standard, it simplifies project execution and maximizes the availability of applications. Its torque control (TCS) masters acceleration and deceleration. It efficiently stops high inertia application thanks to the dynamic braking and DC injection. It could be connected in-line or inside the delta to reduce its operational current. The embedded test routine simplifies the commissioning inside the delta. Its dimensions are 770mm (width) x 329mm (depth) x 890mm (height) and it weighs 115kg. Altivar Soft Starter ATS480 is designed to address process, infrastructures and industrial machines. It conforms to IEC/EN60947-4-1. It is certified CE, cULus, UKCA, CCC, RCM, EAC, and Marine certified DNV, ABS, BV and CCS. Display terminals, remote mounting kit, communication modules are common with Altivar Drives. Line chokes, DNV kits are common with ATS48. ATS480 is compatible with ATS48, it has same footprint, fixing, torque control algorithm, I/O, menus⦠The integration of Altivar Soft Starter ATS480 in EcoStruxure drastically simplifies architecture selection, detailed design and execution in automation and electrical systems.
