What to Know Before You Buy Siemens Digital I/O Modules

Replacing a digital I/O module requires matching several parameters to the installed unit. Channel count, output current rating, connector type, and protocol are all non-negotiable; a module with the right channel count but the wrong connector or network type won't restore operation.
